Aquatic Biome!!!!
My class was lucky and did learn a little about this interesting biome. This biome is very interesting to me because their are many unordinary species in this biome. This biome has many different ecosystems within its self; that many people do not know about. That is why I am sure Sylvia became an oceanographer, because so much is unknown about this unique world. I would like to learn more about all the symbiosis relationships in this biome. The humans have a high impact on the oceans of the biosphere. All of these impacts are density-independent limiting factors. I think that the humans are all of the over of the ideas because; some people know what they are doing and do something about it, some know what they are doing and don't care, and some don't know what they are doing. The health of the aquatic biome is bad because of the population are killing the coral. When the coral dye it makes the food chain is effected like a ripple. First the producers (coral) go extinct, next the first level consumers then go extinct. After that the rest of the heterotrophs will then die off too. When you think of the effect on the energy pyramid the humans have you will see how important autotrophs are in and biome. The health of this biome will soon be very much in danger from density-dependant limiting factors. For example competition will get very aggressive because there will be very little producers left if this continues. What is currently being done in the oceans is for example the clean up in the Gulf of Mexico, which will be a great relief to the wildlife in these waters. NO MORE OIL!!!!!!!! My personal connection with this biome is that I went to Florida during the oil spill over the summer.
